ALDAU developments

The name ALDAU is derived from the Arabic word for Dhow, a traditional Arabian sailing vessel that has evolved over the centuries. In ancient Egypt, Pharaohs used these cedar wood ships to transport materials for building the Great Pyramids. This historical connection is fitting, as ALDAU’s first developments are in Hurghada, the location of the world’s first harbor, built by the ancient Egyptians to facilitate trade—an aptly symbolic site for the project's beginnings.

ALDAU Development is a subsidiary of Sami Saad Holding, established in 1962. Since its inception, the company has made significant contributions to Egypt's evolution and growth, becoming one of the country's largest private holding companies. ALDAU Development offers services across critical sectors of the Egyptian economy, including construction (Samcrete), automotive (Mercedes Benz), fast-moving consumer goods (Corona chocolate), and real estate.
