Thank you for visiting the project website for ‘New Road Triangle’, a planning application in Feltham. Following an online public consultation from Monday 11 to Monday 25 January 2021, the project team updated their plans and this included making all the proposed affordable homes social rent (council) homes. All the proposed three-bedroom family-sized homes have been made social rent homes and this is one of the largest increases in family social housing in Feltham for years.
The application will deliver:
We have created an automatic ranking system for new-build homes in London based on several critical features around the development, like schools, parks, and transport infrastructure.
We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
New Road Triangle site is half a hectare of brownfield land between Longford River, New Road and The Station Estate Road.
Today the site is mostly used by Network Rail to support their servicing of local railways, but the land will be returned to the London Borough of Hounslow in June 2021 and Network Rail will relocate nearby. Part of the site has recently been used as additional car parking space for Lidl supermarket. Once the site is handed back to Hounslow Council the land will be surveyed in preparation for development.
Nobody currently lives at the site proposed for development.
