Building Size and Apartment Layout

Asquith House is a residential tower of 18 floors and forms part of the West End Gate development in Westminster. It has 86 apartments and serves as a conspicuous place to call home in London’s Zone 1. It’s one of the tallest buildings around, so it stands out, but it is still primarily filled with apartments and has a good amount of space.

Most of the homes in the building are large — three or four bedrooms. This differentiates Asquith House from other buildings with smaller-sized apartments, which cater to a growing demand for bigger homes in central London. The development is also finished — all of the new apartments have been sold — so it’s a more stable place to live with people already settled in.

The building is in Marylebone, Westminster, a central location within easy walking distance of many homes and cultural destinations. It’s got old buildings, offices, and new developments, so it's an eclectic place to move to. It’s near Hyde Park and Regent’s Park, as well as other gardens, for easy green city access.

It’s easy to get around from here. The Marble Arch, Edgware Road, and Paddington stations are all a short walk away, and you can access many subway lines and trains. It also has trains to Heathrow Airport, further making it appealing for people in both the U.K. and overseas.

Apartment Features and Amenities

Asquith House features upscale finishes found in other Berkeley Group properties, such as these apartments. The kitchens boast stone countertops and Siemens appliances as well as cabinets with brass detailing. Bathrooms also have oversized tubs, concealed fittings, custom mirror cabinets, and LED lighting, all built to endure.

Market and Resale

Asquith House has completely sold out to the developer. But, you are not shut out completely: You can still buy apartments through resales, buying from other owners rather than buying new.

And because the building is already built, you can get a clear idea of how well it’s maintained and managed and what it’s like to live there. And the original prices are irrelevant now, but the resale prices indicate what apartments are worth now based on other sales in the building.
