A building with regal history
Steeped in history, Grade II Listed Buckingham Gate was built in 1861 as one of London’s first Landmark hotels; «The Palace Hotel» hosted the overflow of distinguished guests from Buckingham Palace.
The land surrounding the site was once a Mulberry tree garden and aviary for exotic birds, during the reign of King James I, leading to the area now being called the «Birdcage Conservation Area».

Northacre in collaboration with Walpole has shared the first look at the House of Walpole - an exclusive residence within the No.1 Palace Street development.
The House of Walpole features Britain’s best luxury brands within one ultra-luxurious space. The residence was designed entirely by Walpole member, architectural interior design studio Oliver Burns.
The House overlooks the gardens of Buckingham Palace. More information will be revealed soon.
