Skillcrown is delighted to announce its recent contract agreement with PA Housing to construct a six-storey development located at Waldram Crescent, Lewisham SE23. This development will comprise 22 new apartments alongside ground floor commercial space.
The newly built apartments will be made available under the government's shared ownership scheme, contributing to the provision of much-needed affordable housing in the Lewisham area. Situated in close proximity to Forest Hill Station in Zone 3, residents will benefit from excellent transport connections to the city center. Additionally, the development offers convenient access to a variety of amenities including shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions such as the nearby Horniman Museum.
The appointment of Skillcrown as the contractor for this £5.3 million project was facilitated through a comprehensive land transfer agreement devised by development agent City & Counties. Turner and Townsend have been appointed as the Employer’s Agent to oversee the project's execution.
Construction for this project is scheduled to commence in July 2021 and is expected to span nearly two years, with an estimated completion date set for April 2023.
