Skillcrown is pleased to announce it has secured a new contract with PA Housing to build a six-storey development in Waldram Crescent, Lewisham SE23, consisting of 22 new apartments with ground floor commercial space.
The new apartments will be sold under the government’s shared ownership scheme, providing much-needed affordable homes in the Lewisham area. Situated close to Forest Hill Station in Zone 3, the development will offer excellent transport links into the city, as well as close proximity to shops, restaurants, entertainment and culture, including the nearby Horniman Museum.
Skillcrown’s appointment as contractor on the £5.3 million project was included as part of the land transfer agreement in a package devised by development agent City & Counties, with Turner and Townsend acting as Employer’s Agent.
Construction on the project will begin in July 2021 and is set to last almost two years, with completion in April 2023.Disclaimer
