Located in East London, Hallsville Quarter will be a vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment destination. The development will feature more than 323,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, including shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and pop-up street food vendors. The model calls for residents to enjoy a vibrant, walkable community with parks and outdoor seating areas and fountains.
As well as housing and retail, the development draws on community well-being with new public spaces, integrated health centre and leisure facilities. Pedestrian links, cyclist provisions, and a mixture of business spaces are designed to create a highly connected and sustainable urban development.
Phase 4 of Hallsville Quarter will provide 375 PROW (purpose-built) study accommodation rooms, which will be designed by PRP Architects and developed by Linkcity. The new offering will feature market-leading amenities, including a rooftop terrace and landscaped public areas. Bouygues UK is leading the construction, with a focus on sustainability and working towards BREEAM Excellent.

Under a massive £3.7 billion regeneration project, Canning Town gears up to emerge as a bustling hotspot for dining, entertainment, and retail, along with a promising residential landscape in East London.
Marking the initial and most pivotal stage of this overhaul, Hallsville Quarter introduces modern residences, recreational areas, and essential commercial spaces, playing a crucial role in fostering a vibrant community and leaving a lasting imprint on Canning Town's legacy.
Bouygues UK, in collaboration with Linkcity and One Housing Group, celebrated the completion of the structure of the build at Phase 3 of Hallsville Quarter with a topping-out ceremony on Wednesday, August 17th.
The £240m (GDV) Hallsville Quarter scheme is expected to complete in 2024.
Phase 3 includes:
- 278 private rental homes situated across two blocks owned by Grainger, including 2,400m2 commercial space within the blocks
- 245 shared ownership (including 10 shared equity)
- 50 extra care
- 47 affordable rent (including 10 London affordable rent)
- 6,800m2 of commercial space owned by Linkcity which it intends to let and/or sell to a commercial investor.
This phase also includes an integrated health centre under an innovative new model with local health partners, 1,125m2 of business accommodation, a new basement car park for 143 vehicles, and new high-quality public spaces, including fountains and play areas.
