Ballymore and Hammerson are collaborating on the redevelopment of Bishopsgate Goodsyard, also known as The Goodsyard. This project aims to revitalize the area, situated between Shoreditch, Banglatown, Spitalfields, and the City, by transforming it into a vibrant mixed-use development.
The Goodsyard site spans the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and the London Borough of Hackney. It benefits from excellent public transport links, with Shoreditch High Street Station within the site and Liverpool Street Station a short walk away. Additionally, the site is close to local landmarks such as Brick Lane, the Truman Brewery, Spitalfields Market, and Columbia Road Flower Market.
In March 2022, planning permission was granted by the Mayor of London for the comprehensive redevelopment of The Goodsyard. The masterplan divides the site into 11 plots, which will be developed in phases over the next decade.
We have created an automatic ranking system for new-build homes in London based on several critical features around the development, like schools, parks, and transport infrastructure.
We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
The developers of The Goodsyard project are shifting their focus towards the delivery of an office building, situated on the corner of Shoreditch High Street and Bethnal Green Road. Additionally, they are initiating a consultation on a Reserved Matters Application concerning five historic buildings on Sclater Street.
In 2024, the project aims to actively engage with the local community through quarterly drop-in sessions. These sessions will provide an opportunity for residents and businesses in the area to interact with the project team, gaining insights into the project's progress and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
The inaugural drop-in event is scheduled as follows:
Date: Thursday, 21st March
Time: 5pm - 7pm
Location: The Goodsyard site offices at 68 Sclater Street, E1 6HR
All are encouraged to attend and participate in shaping the future of The Goodsyard development.
