The Brick

We offer studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom homes in varying designs. All our homes are spacious with open-plan living areas and floor-to-ceiling windows that give our residents a natural, bright escape from city life into a personal haven above.

The Brick building is situated within the thriving community of Westbourne Park. Sitting 13 stories high, the homes overlook the buzzing streets of West London, giving residents a front seat view into the vibrancy and movement of the urban environment. Informed by a simple, traditional design concept, The Brick is an iconic setting to view the London skyline.

We value community here at The Brick. Whether our residents are interested in shopping, eating, arts or antiques, they can enjoy the markets and entertainment in the neighbourhood or indulge in the work of contemporary street artists in residence at The Brick. We also have a large communal garden on the fifth floor to help our residents unwind and breathe away the stress of the day, whilst having the comfort and security of a 24-hour concierge service.

Architecture

It’s called The Brick because we believe in simplicity. We focus on what works best for our residents today and tomorrow. Design is at the heart of everything we do, and we want ours to be timeless.

Leading architecture firm Stiff and Trevillion, designed The Brick using Danish, handmade, Peterson Brick, globally known as the most expensive in the world. The building pays homage to world-renowned British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens well-known for the unique minimalism and high-quality that makes his architecture iconic.

Similarly, traditional in design, the brick façade of the building features varying palettes and textures to seamlessly connect with our vibrant neighbouring community. Residents and guests are given access through a gated entrance to be welcomed at the lobby of the building, furnished with a contemporary interior and warm, natural lighting. Although simple in style, a variation in detail and tone makes The Brick building a subtly unique feature of Woodford Road.

Landscape desing

An enclosed garden is located on the ground floor of the building, guiding residents on a picturesque route from the entrance to the homes. Named Lutyens Yard, the entrance garden is inspired by architect Edwin Lutyens, responsible for designing some of London’s first affordable housing amongst other notable buildings and monuments including the Cenotaph.

Sitting atop the fifth floor of the building is the Gertrude garden, a nod to the work of Gertrude Jekyll, a British horticulturalist during the late 19th-century and early 20th-century. The design of the garden is reminiscent of Jekyll’s signature harmonious colour palettes and use of traditional crafts that capture the quintessential English aesthetic.

Public Art

Surrounding The Brick is a wealth of culture. Our residents have exclusive access to view the work of resident artist Tom Cox who captures real life in the streets of West London as it happens. Cox is a master of his craft and uses art as a vessel to contain elements of society as he sees it.

Cox’s pieces of public life will be on permanent display in The Brick for our residents to view his timeless art, at their leisure.
