At the leading edge of the Church Street regeneration, Carrick Yard brings contemporary apartments to the heart of Lisson Grove, NW8
The apartments at Carrick Yard have been intricately designed, with form and function considered in equal measure across every touchpoint. The living spaces are well-lit by full-height windows, highlighting the clean lines and detailed finishes and materiality within.
Open plan living spaces are perfect for entertaining, their floor-to-ceiling windows flooding them with light and warmth.
Kitchens come fully fitted with Siemens appliances, as well as reconstituted stone worktops, bespoke two-tone cabinets and oak-engineered wood flooring. Everything you need to host any occasion.
All apartments come with either a balcony or terrace, inviting you from the spacious living areas into the open air, blurring the lines between indoors and out.
Bathrooms come complete with feature tiles, wall-mounted timber shelf and commissioned wall units with heated mirror and shaver socket, while all brassware and accessories have a brushed nickel finish. Wool cut-pile carpets to the bedrooms feel soft underfoot and built-in wardrobes (master and second bedrooms only) feature soft-close fixtures.
The regeneration of Church Street is also bringing new green spaces to the area, all underpinned by the ‘Green Spine’ which runs right past Carrick Yard. This linear green route will form a green backbone for the regeneration, uniting the landscaped framework of parks, wellbeing and social experiences.
Just 8 minutes’ walk from Marylebone and Edgware Road Stations, Carrick Yard welcomes new voices to a reinvigorated Zone 1 neighbourhood. Click our apartment finder to discover your new Lisson Grove home.
Key features
We have created an automatic ranking system for new-build homes in London based on several critical features around the development, like schools, parks, and transport infrastructure.
We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
Luton Street development, part of the larger Church Street regeneration programme, is now complete, with residents moving in throughout September and early October.
Local people have been given priority when it comes to purchasing homes in the development.
The scheme has also delivered a new 490m² sports hall and community space for the wider neighbourhood to benefit from. The new Church Street Community Sports Centre, run by Everyone Active in partnership with Westminster City Council, features a three-court sports hall suitable for football 5 a-side, basketball, futsal, netball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.
The centre, opening next month, will also offer affordable access for community groups and local residents, and there is a community studio which can be used for group exercise classes ranging from yoga to pilates, events, community meetings, children’s parties, and soft play.
The Luton Street development also includes the first section of a new green area, a landscaped pedestrian route that will better link Church Street with Marylebone. Designed with pedestrian and cycle paths, gardens and play areas, this is a space predominantly for people away from cars and will offer opportunities for walking, cycling, play and exercise, while promoting biodiversity.
Cllr Matt Noble, Cabinet Member for Climate Action, Regeneration and Renters, commented: "Building genuinely affordable and social homes for local people is at the top of the list of priorities for the new administration and so we are pleased to be able to offer more social homes than originally planned as part of the Luton Street development.
The average wait time in Westminster for a for the two-bedroom property is ten years and 16 years for a three-bedroom. This is unacceptable and the affordable homes on this scheme are a step in the right direction for homeless families in Westminster. This development is just the beginning, and we want to continue to deliver bigger and more affordable homes, as well as make changes that will revitalise areas for local communities and provide better, greener places for residents to live."
The Luton Street regeneration project was delivered by joint venture partners Westminster Builds and Linkcity, a division of Bouygues UK.
