We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
Newly released photographs offer a glimpse of the recently finalized Author King's Cross Build-to-Rent project situated along York Way as of December 2023.
Comprising three distinct buildings, skillfully designed by David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, and Haptic, this development features a collection of stylish rental apartments encompassing 1, 2, and 3-bedroom configurations, complemented by various amenities tailored for the residents' convenience and comfort.
With the completion showcased through these images, the first residents began moving in by the end of October, marking the initial stages of occupancy within this vibrant development.
The first occupants are moving into Author King's Cross, a new residential development in the heart of London. This Build to Rent (BtR) project, featuring 182 new homes of various sizes, including one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, has generated significant interest, with a selection of apartments still available.
To celebrate the project's completion, the contemporary art gallery Sugarlift has curated a collection of artworks for the building's communal spaces. This collection includes a bespoke commission from textile artist Kenny Nguyen and a striking triptych by painter Kostas Papakostas.
The amenity spaces, designed by Conran & Partners and furnished by Accouter BTR, provide residents with a boutique hotel-inspired experience, complete with a dedicated on-site team and a 24/7 concierge service.
The building's entrance features a bespoke commission titled "The Threads Between Us," created by artist Kenny Nguyen. The artwork uses hand-painted silk sheets to form a unique sculptural piece. The communal lounges include a triptych by London-based artist Kostas Papakostas, inspired by the sea and its ever-changing nature.
Author King's Cross has also partnered with two hospitality brands, Daygustation Wines and Caravan Coffee, to offer residents a coffee and wine bar experience. The coffee and wine selection aims to cater to the diverse preferences of residents, with opportunities for tastings and workshops.
Author King's Cross offers a premium lifestyle within the King's Cross estate. The rental homes are ready for occupancy, with monthly prices starting from £3,450. This development is part of Related Argent's plan to deliver 3,000 BtR homes in three London locations, including King's Cross, Tottenham Hale, and Brent Cross Town.
Related Argent, in collaboration with The Olayan Group, has just launched Author King’s Cross, an impressive collection of 182 Build-to-Rent (BtR) apartments in the heart of London's King’s Cross estate.
Author King’s Cross is the estate’s only BtR offering and will set a new benchmark in quality and service, with a dedicated in-house team.
The development offers a range of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, many with the added bonus of private balconies. Prices start from £3,045 pcm for one-bedroom apartments, £4,325 pcm for two-bedroom apartments, and £7,615 pcm for three-bedroom apartments.
Situated at 180 York Way, Author King’s Cross consists of three modern buildings, each varying from three to 16 storeys, all centred around a beautifully landscaped courtyard garden designed by Urban Fabric.
Related Argent worked with leading architectural practices David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Haptic to give each building a distinctive style.
The apartments are designed with a keen eye for detail, fully furnished and equipped with top-of-the-range, energy-efficient appliances. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light, complementing the timber flooring throughout. The bespoke Omega kitchens feature black stained timber-veneered doors and a white granite splashback, with integrated Samsung appliances and SMEG undercounter fridges. The bathrooms are sleek and modern, offering marble-style tiling and mirrored vanities for storage. Each apartment offers an open-plan living and dining area, with fitted wardrobes and ottoman beds for additional hidden space.
The ground floor amenity space, designed by Conran & Partners, is reminiscent of boutique hotels. It features a double-height lobby with elegant Tom Dixon cone lighting above the reception desk.
The onsite Related Argent team, led by a General Manager, provides a range of services, including laundry, cleaning, in-home delivery, and 24-hour building maintenance response. The team’s uniform is inspired by five-star hotels, and the concierge service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Residents at Author King’s Cross will enjoy a wealth of amenities, including multiple residents' lounges with striking timber-lattice ceilings, plush furnishings, and sustainable materials. 'The Nook' offers cosy seating booths, ideal for home working, while the bright garden kitchen opens onto the courtyard. The Fitness Centre is equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, a studio room for yoga and meditation, and personal training facilities. Additional amenities include a crèche, snug screening room with popcorn machine, private dining room, coffee and wine bar, and pet-friendly facilities including a pet wash.
The development is situated in one of London's most sought-after locations, with easy access to on-trend retail, a wide variety of eating and drinking options, and a rich cultural calendar of events.
Residents will also benefit from regular 'Chefs Nights', cocktail hours, and catered events in the communal spaces. For transport, secure bicycle storage and car parking spaces with electric charging are provided.
The apartments are furnished by David Phillips, with the curated scheme titled 'Urban Sanctuary' designed to balance bold colours with cosy furnishings and Nordic-style furniture for a timeless finish. The warm colour palette of blue, taupe, and grey in the one-bedroom apartments, and navy, orange, and cream in the two-bedroom show apartment, add to the overall aesthetic appeal.
