Launch in Summer 2023
We’re creating a whole new renting experience at King’s Cross. 218 homes across three buildings – each designed by leading architects and interior designers.
We’re setting the bar high with social spaces, amenities and perks for our residents including a residential fitness centre, screening room, dining area and a crèche.
Where Build to Rent (BtR) is only emerging in the UK, we have access to over 40-years of experience through the highly successful Related Rental platform in the US, known for its exceptional service and world-class amenities. Related currently owns and operates over 80,000 rental homes across the US.
Through the Related Life programme, residents have access to exclusive events, experiences and partnerships with top brands to enjoy in their city.
This is the only BtR development at the 67-acre King’s Cross Estate and it is ideally located for the growing number of people working at the likes of Meta, Google, Sony Music Entertainment UK, Universal Music and other employers on the estate.
Related Argent is developing the site in partnership with the King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership (KCCLP), the freehold owner of the King’s Cross Estate. KCCLP brings together pension fund AustralianSuper, clients of the international business of Federated Hermes and Argent investors.
DisclaimerWe have created an automatic ranking system for new-build homes in London based on several critical features around the development, like schools, parks, and transport infrastructure.
We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
Author King's Cross, the first and only purpose-built Build to Rent BtR residential offering within the King's Cross estate, is set to launch this summer.
Related Argent's first BtR development, delivered with a joint venture partner, The Olayan Group in the UK, will offer 182 BtR homes and 36 social rented homes across three contemporary buildings, centred on a landscaped courtyard garden.
Related Argent is bolstering its in-house asset management capabilities with a specialised team focused on its BtR operations. Led by Tom Goodall, Partner of Related Argent and Head of Residential, together with Michael Herrington, Director of Build-to-Rent Operations, this dedicated team will oversee the company's impressive BtR portfolio, consisting of over 3,000 rental homes across its developments in King’s Cross, Brent Cross Town, and Tottenham Hale.
One, two and three-bedroom apartments will be available for rent at Author King's Cross, with many benefitting from a private balcony.
Resident amenities will include a fitness centre, screening room, dining area, lounges, a garden kitchen, co-working space, crèche and car parking spaces with electric charging.
As the only purpose-built BtR offering within the 67-acre King’s Cross estate, Author King’s Cross is uniquely placed to offer residents outstanding retail, leisure and entertainment opportunities on their doorstep.
High rental demand is anticipated due to the world-class reputation of the King’s Cross estate and the number of major companies based on the estate. In addition, King’s Cross offers fantastic connectivity, with six underground lines and two national mainline stations, plus European connections via Eurostar and High Speed 1.
Construction on BtR homes at Brent Cross Town and Tottenham Hale is expected to start later this year.
Related Argent's inaugural rental homes are scheduled to become available in late Summer 2023.
