A new airspace development creating six penthouse apartments above an art deco block
A new airspace development creating six penthouse apartments above an art deco block.
The new airspace development above three 1930s art deco blocks will create six penthouse apartments and a new villa at ground level. The works will be undertaken alongside key upgrades to improve the existing buildings including renovation of the communal areas, fire regulations, intercoms, lifts, roof and parking areas.
Part of a gated community, set back from the road and surrounded by generous landscaped private gardens and communal grass open space, the site is in a convenient location adjoining the high street and is within 10 minutes walk from Hendon United Synagogue. The blocks are situated in a verdant area and right on the doorstep to Sunny Hill Park.
Fruition Properties has worked extensively with the freeholder board, Mulberry Close Properties Limited (MCPL), which represents 96 leaseholders in the blocks, to agree a JV that represents a ‘win-win’ for all parties, revising an extant planning permission to ensure an implementable permission and the quality of accommodation required.
With our extensive experience of both Grade II conversions as well as airspace development, the team are looking forward to bringing the art deco buildings back to life.
DisclaimerWe have created an automatic ranking system for new-build homes in London based on several critical features around the development, like schools, parks, and transport infrastructure.
We have developed this new analytical tool to calculate the scores based on the location data. Note that AutoScore values are not set by us or anyone else – everything happens automatically.
