Bellway has handed over more than half of the new homes at the new Beckton Parkside development to new homeowners.

The developer Bellway has passed the halfway milestone at the Beckton Parkside. It coincided with the launch of the latest phase of the development, when 55 new homeowners got their keys.

New Homes At Beckton Parkside

Beckton Parkside sits on Viking Gardens in the London Borough of Newham. It is just 3 miles away from Stratford and 8 miles from Charing Cross, a perfect location for commutes to Docklands and Prime Central London.

Almost 400 new homes in the development range from studio apartments (sold out) to 3-bed flats, with prices well below London averages. The new homes are available at the Parkside Court and Redwood Court apartment buildings of the new build.

Help-To-Buy Homes At Beckton Parkside

Moreover, new build homes at Beckton Parkside are available via the Help-To-Buy scheme that is coming to an end in March 2023. However, the application deadline for the Help-To-Buy homes is 31 October, meaning that prospective buyers have just over one month to take advantage of the scheme.

The scheme allows first-time property buyers to purchase a new build home (£600k max) with just a 5% deposit and 55% mortgage. The remaining 40% is provided as a government-backed equity loan (interest-free for five years).
